What I Do
Shifted Paradigm Design is a Design Technology company. I am here to assist architects, interior architects, and landscape architects with their technology implementation needs, with a focus on Autodesk Revit and associated workflows.

Architect, Revit Expert, Paradigm Shifter, Historic Preservationist
I have spent the last 6 ½ years supporting architects, interior architects, and engineers with their design technology needs. This includes teaching Revit, creating content, developing workflows and standards, troubleshooting issues, and finding creative solutions to both design and modeling problems. I have over 23 years of design experience, most spent as a preservation project architect, where I specialized in using innovative technologies to facilitate the documentation and rehabilitation of institutional buildings, and 14+ years of Revit experience working with existing buildings (most historic), from conceptual design, through construction administration and project close-out. I am a registered architect with degrees in both Architecture and Historic Preservation and I am a former board member on the Alexandria Board of Architectural Review in Alexandria, VA.
One of my main passions is helping design professionals become more efficient with their technology so that they can focus on the fun part – the design. To this end, I have presented at many conferences, including Autodesk University, BILT North America, DesignDC, the AIA National Conference. I have also been a guest on webcast such as DanamoBIM and RevitPure Live.
